Introducing SMS alerts
The Telephone Team has been working on ways to make your telephone.com experience even more exciting. We now introduce you our “SMS Alerts”!
This new feature allows you to have your favorite feeds be sent directly to your mobile phone as you can receive by SMS updates from your favorite websites blog, Twitter, Google news or even Google Reader. You can even manage your own alerting system and personalize it by choosing the frequency of alerts and the hours when you would like to receive them.
Here’s how to configure it:
1) Go to “settings” and click on “SMS Alerts”
2) Fill in the feed title, and URL. In the contains field, you can filter content exactly as the text you specify.
3) Click on “add”
4) Click on “edit” to further personalize your alerts. Please note that we have limited your SMS alerts per feed to 2 per day but you can choose to change that whenever you like!
You can still do more!
Make the best use out of your SMS alerts by choosing the content of the SMSes and the time frame within which you want to receive them.
